The Trio plays from 7-10 pm, mixing instrumental and vocal jazz. Aside from traditional standards, Flippo continues to add inventive arrangements of contemporary tunes from all over the place - several Jimi Hendrix tunes, a David Bowie tune (to highlight the Bowie Exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art), Superstition (in 3/4), Joni Mitchell, Sting, Beatles and originals. Most recently, he added in a version of "Secret Agent Man."
