About

The Feb. 3 headline performance will cap a free, daylong, noncompetitive student jazz festival, one of the nation’s largest. There will also be three free public concerts during the day, plus other highlights: As an added bonus, this year’s festival will take place in New Trier’s new music facilities. The Big Easy comes north during the midwinter month and warms our hearts with the spirit of the birthplace of jazz.
