Internationally-acclaimed saxophonist ERNIE WATTS will be performing as special guest with the Brad Goode Quartet. Watts comes to Chicago directly from concerts with the Ernie Watts Quartet at the Telluride Jazz Festival (July 31 & Aug 1) where he is the Guest of Honor this year. In 2014 Watts was honored with the Frankfurt Music Prize in Germany, which he won for excellence in performance and composition. Previous honorees include Chick Corea and Paquito D’Rivera. “A Simple Truth,” released on Flying Dolphin Records, which Watts started with his wife Patricia 10 years ago.
