FRED SIMON QUINTET @ Chi-Town Jazz Festival 3/17/13

This coming Sunday, March 17, 2013, at 3:00 PM, the Fred Simon Quintet is honored to be part of the 4th Annual Chi-Town Jazz Festival, with all proceeds going toward supporting hunger relief in Chicago.

Festival director, guitarist John Moulder will be sitting in with me and some of my favorite musicians anywhere: David Onderdonk - guitar, Curt Bley - bass, and Gerald Dowd - drums, in the Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel at Lake Forest College, a beautiful hall with a beautiful piano. We'll be playing mostly my tunes ... some old favorites and a brand new one, too....
