The Bookstore in Glen Ellyn (475 N Main St. 60137) is hosting this book signing and performance by guitarist/vocalist Molly Rose on Nov 18th, 2014 from 6-8pm, also Ladies' Night in Glen Ellyn. This is a first time collaboration between these two artists. About the Musician:
Molly Rose is a jazz vocalist, guitarist, and composer/sound designer. She received her B.A. in music from Wheaton College in 2009 and has since performed for recording projects, jam sessions, concerts, and private events all over the Chicago area. Her particular interest in coupling music and story has led her to collaborate with theatre groups and other artists; theatre credits include Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull (Wheaton College Arena Theatre), Trojan Women 2.1, adapted from Euripides's tragedy (High Concept Laboratories), and The Bird Cage, an adaptation of Tennessee Williams's The Glass Menagerie (Wheaton College). Molly also co-hosts the monthly open stage at Down Home Guitars, an all-acoustic instrument shop in Frankfort, IL. Please check out her work on http://mollyrosemusic.tumblr.com
