Together, they created the iconic album Further Definitions, which wascelebrated at the time for Bennys writing, ensemble work, and the solos of Hawkins, Rouse,Woods, and Carter. The instrumentation was somewhat unusual for the dayjust a sax sectionwith rhythm but it worked and produced a great album.Luckily, that music was preserved and will be performed tonight, along with other recentarrangements written for the same instrumentation by Chicago saxophonistsScott Burns, DanNicholson, Kevin Kizer, and Chris Legaalongside a rhythm section featuring Joey Skoch,Dennis Carroll, and George Fludas. ***PARKING***There is rather limited street parking in the area, we recommend arriving by rideshare, bicycle, or rickshaw.
