Since 1982, Pharez Whitted has performed around the world with: Wynton Marsalis, Branford Marsalis, George Duke, Kirk Whalum, Elvin Jones, Slide Hampton (his uncle), John Mellencamp and many more.
He's played at the 1988 Presidential Inauguration, The Arsenio Hall Show, Billboard Music Awards, Carnegie Hall, and MoTown's Music Showcase, among many top gigs.
Recordings include "Pharez Whitted," "Mysterious Cargo" (MoTown); "People Make the World Go 'Round" (MoJazz), "Transient Journey" (Owl).
