The Planet Flippo Quartet really digs in at this energetic, appreciative bar. They performs distinctive and often surprising arrangements of contemporary gems from the 60s to the present, as well as jazz standards and a wide range of originals by leader/pianist Dr. Dave Flippo. The band plays three long sets between 4pm and 8pm. Dave Flippo adds vocals and melodica to the instrumental mix. Their newest arrangements are of tune by Sly, Soundgarden, Steely Dan, Lloyd-Webber as well as some new Flippo originals. The band plays from 7-10pm.
