The performance will highlight jazz standards as well as progressive jazz tunes. The ensemble has rich orchestrations with many improvised sections where the audience will have the opportunity to experience each musician's individuality. Verbal introductions will be given between numbers to enhance the understanding of the music. Sam Burns leads the Heritage Jazz Orchestra bringing high energy and excitement to the stage.
