The Last Word Cd Release Party at Studio5 Performing Arts Center

The Last Word CD Release Party. This unique quintet combines music, lyrics and poetry to take spoken word into a whole new realm. Featuring vocalist Al Day and poet Marc Kelly Smith, backed by pianist Bob Long, bassist Doug Lofstrom, saxophonist Brian Gephart, and drummer Sarah Allen. In this concert, they will be releasing a CD of a live recording from their March 2019 performance at Studio5. Come hear the band and pick up your own copy! This concert will be recorded live for Chicago Jazz Live on WDCB.
