Born in Minneapolis, MN on July 26, 1973, Juanito is recognized in both Spain and the United States as a unique and creative voice with mesmerizing virtuosity, warm and evocative playing, and original compositional style. Juanito has performed in many of the best-known fine arts centers, clubs, and festivals in the United States, and abroad including the renowned Tanglewood Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center, the 92nd St. Y, Blue Note Jazz Club, Boston's Jordan Hall, Regattabar, Panama Jazz Festival, Mexico City's Eurojazz Festival, and Madrid's Casa Patas.
