Jake's Music Service is located in Alsip, Illinois on the Southside of Chicago. In 2000, Jake Fields, owner and operator, opened the music school, repair shop and retail store. Jake Fields is a skilled musician who has performed with numerous jazz ensembles and rock bands in the Chicagoland area. He has worked as an instrument repair specialist at Quinlan and Fabish, Midlothian Music, Superior Music and privately for 20 years. In February 2009, the store opened lesson studios next to the main shop. These studios provide the necessary environment for proficient music studies. Jake's Music Service staffs some of the most talented artists, teachers and repairists in the Chicagoland area.
