The Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra Chamber Music Extension highlights our young musicians’ expertise in a more intimate context than NOYO’s large-ensemble programs. Accomplished high school instrumentalists from Sandusky to Mentor rehearse Baroque, Classical, and Romantic chamber repertoire with Oberlin Conservatory coaches each week in April and May; this performance at the BOP STOP represents the culmination of their work, including a performance by NOYO’s historical viol ensemble. Come hear the expressive playing, sensitive listening, and ensemble teamwork that chamber music is all about!
