Nortonk's music showcases a unique range of influences: avant-garde, jazz, metal, new music, and free improvisation. Nortonk released their debut album on Biophilia Records in May 2021, which Jazzwise Magazine called " very much a maximal experience, thanks to a surplus of energy, passion and adventurism".
