The collaboration with the versatile pianist Marlies Debacker, which has existed since the beginning of 2024, is characterized by an extremely refreshing and stimulating joy of playing. Energy flow and energy arcs, sonorities, interplay as well as various aspects of contemporary music are explored.
Marlies Debacker works in contemporary classical and experimental music. She is at home in both notated new music and improvised music and has developed and refined her voice as a versatile pianist working at the interface between interpretation and improvisation.

The Eichenberger – Studer collaboration began in 1998 in Markus Eichenberger’s Domino Septet, which was continued in 2001 in the Domino Orchestra. This was followed by recordings and concerts, which can be heard on Concept for Orchestra on the EMANEM label. In 2010, the duo started as a working band and released the CD Suspended on HatOLOGY in 2018.
