Marlies Debacker and Judith Wegmann decided to follow up this unique encounter after a joint duo concert at the LOFT. In 2019, this duo formation gave rise to the idea of working together in a quartet with the two Swiss drummers Lukas Briner and Nicolas Wolf, who have been on the road in the duo Nachtschattengeräusche since 2017.
All four musicians have been dedicated to free and experimental music for years, and are active with their projects on international stages. Coming from different styles, such as jazz, classical, new, as well as experimental music, the four artists unite here and let their individual and flexible backgrounds create an unmistakable, energetic sound space....

In February 2023, Marlies Debacker was nominated for the German Jazz Award in the category Piano (announcement of the winners at the end of April 2023).
