Kirke Karja and Fabian Dudek have known each other since 2020, and their joint music making began in the summer of 2023, when Fabian invited Kirke to his septet Day by Day. The musicians created a new program specifically for the concerts in Estonia in December 2024, which is captivating and emotional in its sound.

Kirke Karja is a pianist and composer. Her main musical output is the international trio Karja/Renard/Wandinger, and as a composer Kirke has written music for both chamber ensembles and orchestras. In 2022, she completed a piano concerto, created especially for pianist Sten Heinoja. Fabian Dudek is a saxophonist and composer who has received widespread recognition in Germany, whose work has been nominated for the German Jazz Awards in 2024, among other things.
