Trumpet virtuoso Byron Stripling leads the 16-piece Columbus Jazz Orchestra in a concert celebrating the big band tradition with music of Duke Ellington and Count Basie. Guest artists include jazz violinist Christian Howes, Emmy Award-winning pianist Dave Powers, and saxophonist Shawn "Thunder" Wallace. The concert culminates in the world premiere of "CT Suite - Three Portraits in Blues," a newly commissioned work honoring jazz great Clark Terry.
