Bobby Floyd’s keyboard wizardry is universally revered. Whether producing cascading glissandos on the grand piano or pulsating grooves on the Hammond B3 organ with the Count Basie Orchestra, the Columbus Jazz Orchestra, or his own trio, Floyd’s virtuosity commands attention. Indeed attention will be paid as Bobby is joined by the CJO, plus colleague, friend and OSU music professor, Milton Ruffin, on a program of Bobby’s favorite tunes including jazz, R&B, pop and gospel.
