This is the first time ever for the five musicians to play together as a band. Each is famous on their own right for their music and improvisation. Although Americans played together numerous times, the two Frenchmen have never played together. They speak little English and the Americans less French, the common language being music. The association that drawn them to form a band comes back from the 60's.
