Saxophonist Joshua Redman returns to perform material from his stunning new album, Where Are We, featuring vocalist Gabrielle Cavassa.
Rounding out Wexner Center’s 2024–25 jazz series, this can’t-miss performance showcases music from Redman’s latest album, Where Are We (Blue Note)—a remarkable collection of covers in which each song references “a specific geographical location (city or state or region) in the United States.” Lending his remarkable tone and nuance to songs by Woody Guthrie, Bruce Springsteen, and John Coltrane, among others, and accompanied by rising young vocalist Cavassa, Redman’s return to the Wex is sure to be a show to remember.
