BAUN plays original catchy songs with a twist of soul, funk and jazz. Add a bunch of pop and soulclassics in new interpretations. Søren Baun is the frontman and writes the music and lyrics with a taste for strong melodies, jazzy harmonies and funky grooves. Some of his inspirations are Steely Dan, Bill Withers and Stevie Wonder. He's an experienced artist with a pianist master from the conservatory, but at the same time a down-to-earth singer and songwriter with a soulful voice and something on his mind!
He has performed on big and small stages from Manhattan to Madrid. The rhythm section in BAUN is Morten Ankarfeldt (bass) and Rasmus Lund (drums). They are both very active and experienced musicians, laying down a superfunky groove and playing effortlessly in the styles of jazz and soul....

Special guest tonight is Frederick Menzies on the tenorsax. He is appearing on various danish and foreign jazzalbums, and tonight he will add another dimension to BAUN with his tender sound and great soloing.
