Debbie Sledge Feat. Niels Lan Doky Trio at The Standard

The great American singer Debbie Sledge of the group Sister Sledge (famous for their songs "We Are Family", "Lost In Music", “Frankie" "He's The Greatest Dancer" and other huge hits) has always had a passion for jazz and she recently released a jazz album of her own called "Unsung". She made a short surprise guest appearance at The Standard last January and delivered a most memorable performance - which prompted this longer return engagement where Debbie Sledge will be accompanied by our music director Niels Lan Doky on piano, the fantastic Canadian bassist Graig Earle and the spectacular young Danish drummer Niclas Bardeleben who has made quite an impression here recently while featured in the “Whiplash Live” program...
