Some of Denmark's closest musical relatives are Sweden and the US. On this night, we showcase some of the best and most promising young musicians from both countries, who have already made their mark with such people as John Pattitucci, Ambrose Akinmusire and Marcus Strickland.
Leder man efter gode musikere udenfor Danmarks grænser, er der to oplagte vande at krydse: Atlanterhavet og Øresund. Montmartre har et helt særligt forhold til både amerikanske og svenske musikere, og på denne aften har vi fornøjelsen af at kunne præsentere nogle af de bedste: John Ellis og Justin Brown har spillet med nogle af tidens mest trendsættende amerikanske musikere, såsom John Patitucci og Ambrose Akinmusire, og Felix Tani, Per-Oscar Nilsson og Johny Åman er velkendte både indenfor og langt udover Sveriges grænser.
