Jørgen Teller has been a major force on the experimental music scene in denmark for over 30 years.He has collaborated with just about everybody on the fringe of imrprov, noise and punk.he has composed music for dance and art installations, he is a prolific composer and has released well over 25 albums. his band the Empty Stars is a copenhagen favorite. for his residency at Mandagsklubben mr Teller is presenting himself in 5 different duo constellations. a unique way to samle his special guitar sound....

3 giants of of danish imrprovisation got together last year to from the trio FREE. now there is an album on the way. Per Aage Brandt was one of the pioneers of freejazz piano in Denmark the 60s originally influenced by Thelonius Monk. He is also a poet and philosopher. he hasn't been performing much in the last decades and currently resides in Italy. Morten Carlsen burst onto the scene n the late 60s and was a key member of the New Jungle Orchestra with his original tenorstyle and tarragot playing. He is also a prolific composer and sound sculpture artist. Kresten Osgood should need no introduction at Mandagsklubben.

from 9pm-01am the monday club is taken over by The Community which will present different constallations. The Community is a co-op consisting of young improvisors and composers on the copenhagen scene. saxophonist and composer Mia Dyberg is coordinating the event. guest artists are the amazing Dutch reed player Tobias Delius, Kresten Osgood and Portugese maverick trumpet player Susana Santos Silva

December resident artist Jørgen Teller ends the evening with this exiting duo featuring the new powerful voice of Henrik Olson. Mr Olson has appeared in many many great shows at mandagsklubben and this twin guitar meeting should be a highlight of the month.stay up late!
