20:00 THE ART OF ESCAPISM :
Ania Rybacka – vocal & electronics
Lo Ersare – vocal & electronics

Two improvising vocalists meet in a music performance designed to take listeners on a spiritual journey.
Using voices, as the most expressive and intimate from all instruments, they create an unique universe inviting audience to escape from daily routines, matters of past and future. Abstract stories made of unconventional vocal soundscapes and surprising effects invite imagination for a creative spin. Strong and at the same soft voices multiply and cross each other, bringing emotions through cathartic climax to the sense of balance and harmony.

21:00 FREE SPITITUAL : REQUIEM
Maciek Kadziela – sax
Tomo Jacobson – double bass
Anders Verstergaard – drums

The band FREE SPIRITUAL is reaching to the medieval Gregorian chants and reshapes them in the new light of the contemporary improvised music. Their project REQUIEM is the rearrangement of the Christian mass for the repose of the souls of the dead, and the band plays it with an universal and secular intention of love and goodwill for all the living beings killed in armed conflicts. The trio keeps and elevates the roughness and purity of the Gregorian chant and focuses on their personal expression of what the two mean to them and how they see the initial energy and intentions behind this music.
This concert is also a coronation of FREE SPIRITUAL's European tour and the last performance before the band goes to the studio the very next day in order to record their début album.

22:00 KRESTEN OSGOOD : SOLO
There is really no need to introduce him. Probably the best drummer in the world with some of the greatest discography on this planet. We have heard Kresten Osgood in many different contexts and on many different occasions, but his solo performances were heard only by the chosen few and stories about them grew to the rank of cult of the extremely rare and the sacred. On this very evening, the unimpeded fountain of expressively improvised music and creativity will flood the church. Beware of out of this world experiences with Mr. Kresten Osgood.

23:00 FREE OPEN SESSION : SPIRITUALITY IMPROVISED
If you play, stay after the concerts and join the open session to add your own individual voice to the matter of improvised music and spirituality. There will be some great improvising guest stars coming, so it is also worthwhile hanging out a little longer even if you are not a musician.
We say goodnight at midnight.

KONCERTKIRKEN er blevet udvalgt at deltage i Realdanias Ildsjælsfestival den 23-27 september.
Dette er en direkte udløber af at vi har modtaget 500.000 i støtte fra Realdanias projekt Underværker til ombygning af Blågårds Kirke til permanent musik- og kulturhus.

KONCERTKIRKENS ILDSJÆLEFESTIVAL er ét af i alt 17 arrangementer, som afholdes den 23-27. september, når bygningsarvens ildsjæle viser deres projekter frem og inviterer lokalsamfundet indenfor i en landsdækkende ildsjælefestival. Festivalen er en del af Realdanias kampagne Underværker, der sætter fokus på ildsjælenes potentialer og yder økonomisk støtte til ildsjæleprojekter, der styrker og udvikler bygningsarven. Ildsjælefestivalen markerer, at det fra den 23. september igen bliver muligt at søge økonomisk støtte til projekter, der skaber nyt liv og nye aktiviteter i bygningsarven. Med KONCERTKIRKENS ILDSJÆLEFESTIVAL vil vi vise hvem vi er, hvad vi kan, og hvad vi gør - og promovere vores projekt og fantastiske hus overfor verden udenfor, både den lokale og den globale.
For at spejle bredden i husets mangefacetterede musikalske profil har vi valgt at lave 5 aftner i træk med et nyt tema hver aften - med udgangspunkt i vækstlaget og med særlig vægt på det unge sydende, rytmiske københavnske musikmiljø. Der er dog også plads til både klassisk og tidlig musik, samt en hel aften hvor unge som gamle inviteres til bal og en omgang fælles dans på kirkens smukke trægulv.

Vi glæder os til at fylde huset med masser af god musik og glade mennesker! Velkommen ind i kirken!
