Malene Mortensen er en af Danmarks spændende yngre sangerinder, selvom hun allerede har været med i en del år. I Frankrig har Malene haft stor succes og i en periode ligget på top 10, og hun er ofte flittig gæst i Tyskland samt resten af Skandinavien. Det forstår man godt, når man har hørt, hvordan hun som få andre kan fortolke en smuk melodi, så den rører lytteren helt ind i sjælen. På hendes nyeste plade blander hun sine egne kompostioner med jazzens udødelige standardrepertoire. Det er både smukt, intenst og groovy. Med sig på scenen har hun en stærk trio bestående af legenden Ole Kock Hansen, den unge og talentfulde Andreas Svendsen og ligeledes talentfulde Anders Fjeldsted.
