Mathias Heise has through his many accolades and extraordinary performances attracted a lot of attention both domestically and abroad. Besides mastering the difficult chromatic harmonica, he is an exceptional composer and pianist. At the mere age of 20, he was awarded as the world's best on the chromatic harmonica at the World Harmonica Festival in Germany in 2013, and in 2015 he was awarded as the new best jazz act in Denmark.

Immense talent surrounds him in his band Mathias Heise Quadrillion, which consist of other young talented jazz players, namely Mads Christiansen, David Vang and Aksel Stadel Borum....

Mathias Heise Quadrillion has managed to create a very unique, personal and contemporary soundscape, which goes beyond any specific genre. The band has decided to label this genre blurring music as FuRoJazz. "Fu" stands for future, funk and fusion, while "Ro" stands for rock, and then of course jazz.

Thus, the Mathias Heise Quadrillion ear catching compositions is a combination of jazzy harmonies and improvisation with rock and funk music. It is lined up to be a colourful and sophisticated night at Montmartre!
