The bond between American and Danish jazz musicians has an admirable history. Tonight the legendary Horace Parlan celebrates this association by rewarding two young talents: American Isaiah Thompson and Danish Felix Moseholm. The awards will be given before a performance by these two young shooting stars along with Danish drum legend Alex Riel, who also started at a very young age, sharing the stage with some of the world’s greatest jazz musicians that America has produced.
