The New Yorker with Danish-German roots Tine Bruhn's elegant soprano, certainly has a touch of the ethereal, but she brings the equivalent of a roaring fireplace with the smoky traces in her voice and its light funk grooves.

After graduating at the renowned Berklee College of Music Miss Bruhn went on to pursue her dream of becoming a jazz singer in the big apple. Now based in Brooklyn, New York, Miss Bruhn has developed a mellow and graceful sophistication, a sentiment that also could be applied to South Korean pianist Min Woo Park (Jakob Park) with whom she will perform with at this edition of Vinter Jazz 2017 alongside the young up-and-coming bass player Tomas Raae. ...
