An exciting collaboration between one of Denmark’s leading musical profiles, Marilyn Mazur, and a
unified and adventurous saxophone quartet. Marilyn has played with a.o. Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter,
Jan Garbarek and as a leader of her own groups; her playing combines a virtuoso inventiveness with a
great sense of both color and drive. The members of “United Notions” are all prolific composers and bandleaders as well, and have built a tight unit, exploring the possibilities in writing as well as improvisation.
