Hans Ulrik unites Nordic lyricism and American swing in a way that has defined much of modern Danish jazz. An obvious choice for this International Jazz Day. With his quartet, he will play tunes by his own tenor heroes, such as John Coltrane and Stanley Turrentine, as well as a couple of Danish melodies.
