The sound and ambience from three continents unite in this Summer Jazz summit between Brian Blade (US), guitarist Lionel Loueke (BJ) and saxophonist Benjamin Koppel (DK). Lionel Loueke is no less than an international superstar, with four solo releases on the Blue Note label under his belt. Among his further merits, Loueke has worked together with Herbie Hancock on the album Possibilities and with Santana and Angelique Kidjo. For the last five years, Loueke and Koppel have been playing together annually in the ensemble Coalition at the legendary jazz venue Blue Note in New York.
