The band MØR operates in the tension field between electronic pop, dance beats, performance, poetry and battle cries. The music goes from the hard and dirty, to the fragile and beautiful. The lyrics deal with themes of oppression, paralysis and privilege blindness. But also the care that lies in indulging- to lean in and embrace the reality of others- daring to believe and dream.

MØR was established in 2021 and consists of electronic musician and composer Mika Forsling and performance maker/singer Anika Barkan. Bandet MØR opererer i spændingsfeltet mellem elektronisk pop, dancebeats, performance, poesi og kampråb. Musikken går fra det hårde og beskidte, til det skrøbelige og smukke. Teksterne omhandler temaer om undertrykkelse, handlingslammelse og privilegie blindhed. Men også den omsorg der ligger i at hengive sig- at læne sig ind i og omfavne andres virkelighed- at turde tro og drømme.

MØR blev etableret i 2021 og består af elektronisk musiker og komponist Mika Forsling og performancemaker/sanger Anika Barkan. MØR har spillet i, Danmark, Sverige, Frankrig og Letland for et begejstret publikum, som blandt andet beskriver musikken som ”et overdådighedshorn af lyd, tekst, sanselighed og performance, der giver mod til at komme op af sofaen for at træde ind i fællesskabet”
