The evening begins with a trio led by one of Denmark's coolest guitarists. Niclas Knudsen is known for always delivering 100% whenever he goes on stage. Whether it's in the powerful cross-over trio Ibrahim Electric or as the leader of a slightly more subdued trio. His changeable playing can go from a heartfelt whispering to an aggressively roaring during a concert, and one is never prepared for when it happens. The two fellow musicians, AC on bass and Mikkel Hess on drums, make sure that Knudsen's feet remain on the floor of the stage, ensuring that he won’t fly away towards the stars....

The evening's second concert is with saxophonist Emil Hess in front. The album Emil Hess Evolution Stories was brilliantly received, and the critics stood in line to give their praises. The album's terrific mix of tangible acoustic post-bebop with the rhythmic power of fusion jazz results in a sweepingly beautiful album with its own completely unique sound. The orchestra has since been touring a lot, and tonight is the opportunity to hear the music from the highly acclaimed album live and even with the original ensemble.

Hvad enten det er i den powerfulde cross-over-trio Ibrahim Electric eller som leder af en lidt mere afdæmpet trio. Hans foranderlige spil kan gå fra det inderligt hviskende til det aggressivt brølende i løbet af en koncert, og man er aldrig forberedt på, hvornår det sker. De to erfarne medmusikere, AC på bas og Mikkel Hess ved trommerne, sørger for at Knudsens ben forbliver på scenegulvet, så han ikke flyver afsted mod stjernerne.

Aftenens anden koncert er med saxofonisten Emil Hess i front. Albummet Emil Hess Evolution Stories blev bragende flot modtaget, og anmelderne stod i kø for at uddele store roser. Albummets forrygende blanding af håndfast akustisk post-bebop med fusionsjazzens rytmiske saft og kraft resulterer i et fejende flot album med sin egen helt unikke lyd. Orkestret har siden turneret livligt, og her er muligheden for at høre musikken fra albummet live og endda med den originale besætning.
