The pianist Ole Kock Hansen is one of the most influential giants on the Danish Jazz Scene. Among his prior merits is a long-standing collaboration with his childhood friend Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, as well as being the successful conductor of the Danish Radio’s Big Band. In more recent years, he has been the conductor of his very own A VERY BIG BAND that, according to a beloved tradition, will be featuring sister and brother Marie Carmen Koppel and Benjamin Koppel especially for the Summer Jazz Festival.
