The young drummer Terkel Nørgaard had a desire to play a trio concert with a dear friend, who also is one of Europe's finest pianists. Fortunately, the great God of Jazz heard the many prayers from Terkel Nørgaard, because on July 4 Terkel Norgaard Trio gets company by the Swedish super pianist Lars Jansson. Lars Jansson has since early 1970 been a much sought after sideman, band leader and composer. The trio's third member is the Danish bassist Jeppe Skovbakke, who's robust and rhythmically strong playing is one of Denmark's strongest bass profiles. Together Lars, Jeppe and Terkel will play some of their own compositions and some favorite jazz standards this afternoon at Christianshavn Færgecafé....

Heldigvis har den store jazzgud hørt de talrige bønner, for 11 juli på Christianshavns Færgecafé, får Terkel Nørgaard Trio selskab af den svenske superpianist Lars Jansson. Lars Jansson har siden starten af 1970'erne været en meget efterspurgt sidemand, bandleder og komponist. Udover Lars Jansson, er trioens tredje mand den danske bassist Jeppe Skovbakke, der med sit solide og rytmisk stærke spil, er en af Danmarks stærkeste kontrabasprofiler. Sammen vil Lars, Jeppe og Terkel spille sig igennem egne kompositioner, og deres favorit jazzstandards, denne eftermiddag på Christianshavns Færgecafé.
