The next international jazz artist from Denmark could be named Zier Romme. At the age of 11 Zier began studying jazz piano and with a childhood spent in a musical environment, the scene was set for the rise of a piano star.

Zier was only 19 years old when he started at the renowned Rhytmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen.

In his early childhood Zier would spend the whole summer just listening to records with his big idol Oscar Peterson. Besides from the Canadian superstar Zier was also into Tony Bennett, Al Jarreau and Tower Of Power.

And when you listen to the musical patterns, the rhythmic drive, the sense of harmonies and melodic clarity of Zier, you realize that the summers spent with listening to the great Oscar Peterson was not at all waisted time....
