Recent University of North Texas graduate Alex Blair is a versatile vocalist, songwriter and arranger in the North Texas area. Originally from Portland, Maine, Alex moved to Texas to study with renowned educators Rosana Eckert and Jennifer Barnes. Alex became a member of the award-winning University of North Texas Jazz Singers in 2014 and participated in their California tour in April. They recorded an album to be released in late 2014 which features Alex on several solos. Alex has received numerous awards as a big band vocalist including outstanding performer at the Berklee College of Music Jazz Festival and outstanding performer in the state of Maine. She has an extensive history in musical theater, studying both vocal technique and acting with nationally recognized teacher and author Rhonda Carlson. Alex has performed with artists such as Janis Siegel, Wayne Bergeron and the New York Voices. She is currently teaching at music academies in the North Texas area and performing locally....

Ronan Delisle, a Seattle native, brings his wide variety of influences and experiences to his principal outlet for original material, Slugger Music Group. The group features songs written with various intentions; sometimes extended improvisation and other times short songs with specific narratives. Influenced by Bill Frisell's groups throughout the years and the Julian Lage Group's recent records, Slugger aims to entice and connect with the audience through sincere melody and focused rhythmic exploration.
