The New York Afro Bop Alliance is led by drummer Joe McCarthy, Latin Grammy Award winning bandleader. The NY Afro Bop Alliance Big Band has just released its seventh recording Upwards on the ZoHo Record Label and looks forward to presenting this new music in a more intimate setting with a sextet at Scat Lounge.
