It’s fitting that Alexis Cole is our guest artist for Veterans Day weekend. She may be the most talented singer to ever hold a top-secret military clearance. She was the featured vocalist for seven years with the U.S. Army's West Point Jazz Knights and recently released a big band album of songs she performed while on her tour of duty - Sky Blossom. Alexis is currently based in New York City and has performed at Carnegie Hall, Birdland, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Blue Note. The GDYO Jazz Orchestra will open and perform with Alexis also.
