Marion Powers is a seasoned jazz vocalist with more than 14 years of performing experience under her belt. Her influences range from the classic Billie Holliday to the modern Maria Neckam. Marion fuses these influences in her unique ability to make words and melody meld together until they are a part of a greater whole in the music itself. She has worked as a session singer in Los Angeles, recorded at Capitol Records, sung in many ensembles including the Downbeat Large Vocal Ensemble Undergraduate winning ensemble at Santa Monica College, and been the bandleader for her own groups of all shapes and sizes. Her love for performing stems from the place where her love for learning and her love for music meet and blossom in a way that allows her to share her inspiration with others. She is currently completing her Bachelor’s of Music in Jazz Studies at the University of North Texas under the tutelage of renowned vocalists Rosana Eckert and Jennifer Barnes.

Jordan Coffing is a jazz vocalist, composer and arranger currently pursuing a Jazz studies degree with a voice concentration at the University of North Texas. While voice is Jordan’s primary instrument, she also plays guitar and piano. Jordan began her studies of music both independently and through schooling by attending the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston. She has been a member of and arranged music for Jazz Singers ensembles at UNT and has also had the opportunity to sing for several notable artists such as Kurt Elling and Peter Eldridge. She can be heard as a sideman on jazz vocalist Jimin Lee’s upcoming album and saxophonist Spenser Liszt’s album “Until Further Notice.” Jordan is currently a member of Denton based folk group “Many Voices” whose album “Mountains and Other Far Away Things” was just released July 2014. Jordan’s original compositions incorporate her love for folk and jazz. These compositions were debuted at the second annual Springboard South Music festival in Houston Texas.
