Piano Madness at Steinway Hall- Plano

For the fourth year in a row, the Dallas Jazz Piano Society (DJPS) will present its well-received Piano Madness concert featuring three world-class jazz pianists. This concert benefits the organization’s Keys for Kids program supporting young students in private piano studies.
“Piano Madness is a unique musical event. This benefit concert involves three pianists playing two pianos. Each pianist will perform a solo piano piece, a piano trio number, and two duos with each of the other two players. This is a rare opportunity for jazz piano players to enjoy listening to and playing with each other. Normally, not even two pianists would be on the same program so to have three players involved is really unusual! Though some numbers may be accompanied by a bass player and drummer, many will be simply two pianists at two pianos! The April 12 Piano Madness concert will feature pianists William Foley, Kelly Durbin and David Rady. For many of the numbers during both concerts, Jeffry Eckels and Steve Barnes will accompany on bass and drums, respectively.
