Sammons Jazz Artistic Director and Steinway Artist Arlington Jones plays classical music, followed by his jazz arrangements of the same compositions.
Arlington fills the second half with music from some of his friends and influences who are no longer with us, including keyboardists Bernard Wright and George Duke. In both sets, Arlington is joined by James Driscoll on bass, Arlington “Ollie” Jones III on drums, and Jorge Ginorio on percussion.
