Sammons Jazz artistic director and Steinway Artist Arlington Jones and jazz vocalist Kevin Whalum lead the concert with music in the style of Bobby McFerrin and Herbie Hancock. Arlington returns for the second set, joined by Andrew Griffith on drums and Braylon Lacy on bass, to shine the light on the music of jazz artist Mary Lou Williams.
