ARTS FIFTH AVENUE proudly presents their 8th annual DJANGO REINHARDT FESTIVAL: FW 2011 - three nights of Film, Food, Music & French Ambience honoring The Life of Legendary Gypsy Jazz Guitarist: DJANGO REINHARDT (January 23 , 1910 - May 16 - 1953). Film: Latcho Drom (1996) Director: Tony Gatlif. Documentary on the history of Gypsies and thier music.
Showcasing the all stars of Gypsy Jazz in Texas. Also includes workshops in Django Technique, Grappelli Technique, Gypsy Waltzes and Gypsy Jazz for all levels.
