Legendary bassist and 2-time Grammy winner Eddie Gomez has beeen on the cutting edge of music for over 4 decades. His impressive resume includes performances with jazz greats Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Dizzie Gillespie and Benny Goodman. Eddie's unique sound and style can be heard on many Grammy winning records as well as on hundreds of records. Today,Eddie tours and records with his own group which includes 'our own' Stefan Karlsson on piano. For this very special event, Eddie invites retired UNT Head of Jazz Drum Department, Ed Soph. This will be a seminal night of live jazz forDallas.
