He is simply without peer on his instrument and the first choice as collaborator for everyone from Sting and Billy Joel to Sonny Rollins and Pat Metheny. With pianist Christian Sands and drummer Ulysses Owens, Jr., McBride has created an energized unit that is “powered from the ground up!”
