Saxophonist Dan Blake In Concert at Mt Kisco Village Hall

Internationally acclaimed saxophonist and composer Dan Blake, a resident of Mount Kisco, celebrates the release of his recent Sunnyside Records release Da Fé with a free outdoor performance at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in front of Mount Kisco’s Village Hall, 4 East Main St. The concert will focus on the theme of environmental justice with an appearance by local climate activists. Joining Blake are musicians from the recording including pianist Leo Genovese, bassist Dmitry Ishenko, and drummer Jeff Williams.

Da Fé has earned broad critical acclaim. Alan Young of Lucid Culture called it “one of the most relevant and musically rich albums of 2021 in any style of music." The concert is part of the Fountain Park Concert Series, which Blake helped to found and program as music coordinator for the Mount Kisco Arts Council, a post he’s held since 2017.
