The True North Jazz Project is based in New Yorks Hudson Valley where it strives to bring an eclectic mix of live music to the community at large. TNJP is led by saxophonist Joe North, pianist Ryan Cerullo, bassist Buddy Griffith, and drummer/percussionist Ryan Odell. The quartet performs original songs, jazz standards, unique interpretations of pop/funk tunes, latin, klezmer and more. All members of the band have unique musical history and have shared the stage with Yo Yo Ma, Olivia Newton John, Professor Louie, Maceo Parker, The Klezmatics, Pee Wee Ellis, John Abercrombie and many more.
